Kimble Hairston McEachern - Vice Chairwoman
Kimble McEachern has spent the bulk of her corporate career in software sales, contract negotiations and procurement for IBM. Kimble has taken her corporate knowledge and experiences to work for many non-profit organizations within Stokes and Forsyth County over the past two decades. As a 18-year Girl Scout volunteer and leader, she strongly believes what Frederick Douglass said in 1855, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men”still resonates todayand dedicates her time to ensure girls especially are given a safe place to grow and learn about things that interest them. Kimble is an appointee to the Stokes County Board of Elections and the Walnut Cove Senior Advisory Board. Previous non-profits boards she has been a part of: Sid’s Place of Walnut Cove, Stokes County Habitat for Humanity (20212-17) and Stokes Stop Child Abuse Now (2008-14). She is a graduate of University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she met her husband, Noel McEachern of 33 years. They have two children, Nigel a WSSU graduate and Captain in the U.S. Army and Camille, a soon to be NC A&T graduate May 2025. The McEacherns attend Rising Star Baptist Church of Walnut Cove and serve in many capacities. With her faith in Jesus, she believes it is important that she personally walk in peace and humbly because as she puts it “I may be the only Bible someone reads today”.

Megan Allen - Secretary
Megan Allen is Secretary of the Faithful Living Foundation Board of Directors and a dedicated advocate for mental health. Megan studied Psychology and Art at East Carolina University and intends to continue her education to become a licensed Art Therapist.
Prior to joining the board, Megan became a certified Peer Support Specialist, providing invaluable support and empathy to those in need. Additionally, she facilitated Art-Based support groups, harnessing the therapeutic power of creativity to foster connection and healing. She believes that creative expression can serve as a tool to give people living with mental illness an outlet to express their perspectives, while also encouraging an increased understanding of mental health in the community.
She has previously worked for The Sid Lee Memorial Mental Health Association, serving as Co-Director and Certified Peer Support Specialist. She is currently Practice Manager at Faith First Christian Counseling and enjoys connecting individuals to the care they need.
Megan brings a unique blend of personal experience, professional skills, and a deep-rooted passion for mental health to the board. Her commitment to the organization's mission and ability to contribute meaningfully to its goals makes her a valuable asset to the team.

Jeana Barneycastle - Treasurer
My name is Jeana Barneycastle. I was born and raised in Stokes County. I love this community and I have chosen to work and raise my family here in Stokes County. I have a variety of experiences of helping children and families. I began my career at Stokes County Department of Social Services in Child Welfare. I moved into a position with the Winston Salem Children's Developmental Services Agency working with children birth to 3 years old with developmental disabilities. I transitioned to the Department of Juvenile Justice where I spent 14 years as a juvenile court counselor serving youth on probation and as an intake counselor. Lastly, I am in my 6th year as a school social worker for Stokes County Schools serving middle and high schools. Each position I have worked in has assisted to provide me with valuable experience working with children, teens, and families. I currently serve on the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council as Secretary. I am excited to be on this board. In my free time, you will find me spending time with my husband, son, and daughter.
I am serving on this board on a personal basis not related to my position with Stokes County Schools.
